Specialist Road Rail Plant company requires competent Lift Supervisors to oversee safe lifting duties by cranes both on and off track. This role will work out of our new premises in Bristol and to join the company on a permanent basis.
As a team player you will be flexible and focused on your task in hand. The plant operating from our Bristol facility will be covering both rail and construction projects along the M4 & M5 Corridors.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid PTS (although not essential) and CPCS or NPORS Lift Supervisors ticket. You will be experienced in British Standard BS 7121Part 1 2006 setting out standards for managing lifting operations.
Requirements of this Lift Supervisors role:
Proof of right to work in the UK
Valid CPCS ticket
- Ability to direct and supervise the lifting operation to make sure it is carried out in accordance with the method statement.
- The crane supervisor should be competent and suitably trained and will have sufficient experience to carry out all relevant duties with authority to stop the lifting operation if it is necessary
- Experience of inspecting lifting tackle
- Any other tickets/qualifications/experience
