LOCATION: Bridgnorth
JOB TITLE: Multi-Spindle Machine Setter/Operator
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP7.50-GBP11 p/h, dependent on experience
WORKING HOURS: Monday-Friday/Monday-Thursday, rotational
THE COMPANY: Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Bridgnorth which produces threaded inserts for a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, electrical and leisure. They are currently seeking a Multi-Spindle Machine Setter/Operator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
THE ROLE: Our client is seeking a Multi-Spindle Machine Setter/Operator based in Bridgnorth to assist in all aspects of manufacturing. Within the role you will start by shadowing a senior member of staff, learning how to operate the Multi-Spindle machines, feeding lengths of bar into the machine and measuring parts against drawings. You will also be involved in setting up the manual machines and ensuring that any faults with the machines are detected quickly.
Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Spindle Machine Setter/Operator to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Multi-Spindle Machine Setter/Operator role will ideally have previous engineering experience, preferably within a similar role however this is not essential. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work within a team and have excellent time keeping and attendance. It is also highly advantageous that you have the ability to interpret drawings and measurements.
