JOB TITLE: Fundraising Manager
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary dependant on experience
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a theatre based in Wolverhampton who has been long established in the Midlands. It receives a wide range of major touring productions including drama, musicals, ballet, dance, opera, variety, concerts, children's shows and one of the biggest pantomimes in the UK. Due to continuous growth they are now looking to recruit a Fundraising Manager.
THE ROLE: As a Fundraising Manager you will be a dynamic and skilled with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patrons, local community and the wider business community.
Key Responsibilities of a Fundraising Manager to include:-
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner along with a broad knowledge of arts and popular culture. Ideally you will have worked in a theatre/arts environment previously however if you have the right fundraising experience full training will be given.

Key Responsibilities of a Fundraising Manager to include:-
- To plan, manage and execute a strategic Fundraising Strategy in liaison with the Associate Director of Development and communications
- To increase corporate sponsorship for Wolverhampton Grand Theatre
- To manage the existing Business Club
- To manage the existing patron focused fundraising
- To plan and organise internal and external fundraising events
- To liaise with the Sales and Marketing Department on other theatre events
- To co-manage the Events and Marketing Apprentice with the head of Marketing
- To create a development section on the theatre website in liaison with the digital team
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will need to be a self-motivated individual who has the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will need to have an excellent telephone manner along with a broad knowledge of arts and popular culture. Ideally you will have worked in a theatre/arts environment previously however if you have the right fundraising experience full training will be given.
Key experience essential for the Fundraising Manager role:
- Worked in a corporate fundraising capacity for a minimum of 2 years'
- Excellent working knowledge of word, excel and other relevant IT packages
- Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
- Lives within a commutable distance to Wolverhampton
