Job Title: Lecturer in Engineering

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Salary: £23,247 to £33,108 (Subject to experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full Time, although the college will consider 2 x 0.5FTE (18.5 hours a week)

Key Requirements:

Candidates must have experience and knowledge of delivering a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical subjects, including Mechanical Principles and Pneumatic and Hydraulics. Must have experience of teaching at HNC Level, hold relevant industry qualifications and hold a UK recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, DTLLS or Cert ED or be working towards them.

It is desirable that candidates hold a Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and is also desirable for candidates to hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) Candidates will need to be willing to update to the new standards.
