THE COMPANY: Our client is a well respected co-educational private school for pupils aged 13 to 18 in Shrewsbury. We are now seeking to recruit a Qualified Gas Safety Plumber.
THE ROLE: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Gas Plumber/Engineer to join our clients established team based in Shrewsbury. You will required to hold a strong plumbing background with extensive experience and also hold the relevant ACS qualifications in both domestic and preferably commercial plumbing.
As the successful candidate for this Plumber position you will need to be suitably qualified to join the school's "Gas Safe" register. You will not only be dealing with minor maintenance tasks such as drain blockages and domestic boiler repairs but you will also be responsible for fault finding, new installations and the servicing of a range of gas equipment. The variety of installations, and size of the school site, means that you will work on a wide range of installations in terms of their size, age and complexity.

- To hold current domestic & commercial "Gas Safe" certificate
- To hold a full driving licence
- Good standard of general education in English & Mathematics
- Must hold experience of working on a variety of boiler plants and controls
- To hold extensive experience of commercial & domestic gas and plumbing installation
- Able to commute to Shrewsbury
