The Genie Cleaning Company is a reputable window cleaning company providing residential and commercial window cleaning throughout Burton-on-Trent and surrounding areas. Due to their growth they now have an exciting opportunity for a window cleaner operative to join their well-established team. You must be from areas such as Burton-on-Trent, Derby, Hilton, Tutbury, Swadlincote, Woodville or Littleover.
The window cleaner operative will be required to wear a company uniform and drive a company van to various pre-booked locations for our residential and commercial customers.
The window cleaner operative will then carry out window cleaning duties which involve cleaning all windows/doors and washing frames. The external window cleaning will be carried out using our water fed pole systems that are fitted within each van. The window cleaner operative will also be trained to clean the internal windows using the traditional squeegee and scrubber method as sometimes customers want the internal windows also cleaned. The window cleaner operative will be trained to clean Conservatory roofs, soffits, facias and cladding as these are extra services we provide.
In order to be a successful Window Cleaner Operative you will need to have the following:
- Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
- The confidence to work at heights
- An awareness of safety requirements
- Good communication skills
- Good attitude to work and learn new skills
- Flexibility
- full UK driver’s license
- Clean dbs required due to working at schools and nursing homes.
No experience is required as full training will be given for the Window Cleaner Operative role.
You will be working 5-6 days a week doing various window cleaning duties with other team members. If the weather is bad then you still get paid a minimum salary.
