Nursery Nurse - Boston Spa

Are you a qualified Nursery Nurse looking for a new exciting challenge?

A well established Private Nursery in the North Leeds area is currently recruiting for both part time and full time Nursery Nurses on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare (NVQ, CACHE, NNEB)and have up to date knowledge on the EYFS and safeguarding policies. The setting is very popular within the local community and highly recommended by parents in the area. The grounds of the nursery provide endless opportunities for outdoor play and the current team of staff are welcoming new faces with exciting ideas.

Hours would be on shift patterns between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm on a permanent contract.

Some of the main responsibilities would be:

To observe, monitor and provide constructive feedback on children's progress
To understand the roles of parents and carers in children's learning and demonstrate ability to liaise with parents and carers sensitively and effectively
To work independently as well as part of a team
To be flexible in terms of hours/days worked
To work creatively
To provide necessary personal care to children
To demonstrate very good numeracy and literacy skills

Requirements for this role:
Relevant Qualification in Childcare/Early Years - NVQ, CACHE, B-TECH, BA, BA (HONS)
Recent experience with children aged 0 - 5
DBS Certificate
