The Opportunity:
Senior Corporate Accounts Manager - My Client is a leading chartered UK accountancy practise, offering corporate tax, business planning and VAT services across the South of England and due to continued success are now seeking an exceptional Accounts Manager to take that next step in their career to join their team in Surrey.

You must have considerable experience of working within an Accountancy Practise as you will be required to manage client relationships & accounts as well as being responsible for a team of professionals who focus on our larger corporate clients including a some audit assignments.

Required Skills & Attributes:
ACA or ACCA qualified (degree not essential)
Minimum of 7 years in an Accountancy Practice
Experience of systems/controls testing as well as substantive auditing,
including consolidations, group audits, IFRS, statutory accounts and
disclosures
Strong commercial acumen
Effective communicator and relationship builder
Adaptable approach and quick thinker
Effective time management skills
Passionate about nurturing & developing individuals

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Management of client portfolio including: Statutory audits; accounts
preparation; general advisory, strategic and tax planning and attend
client meetings.
Supporting, partner led, business development activities.
Mentor the team's AAT & ACA trainees holding regular meetings and
assisting with objective setting and personal development.
Manage WIP and monthly billing,
Be responsible for own development with support from the mentoring programme
