Entry Level Radiographers

The world’s largest imaging study is recruiting Entry Level Radiographers (£12.50/hour) at our Newcastle-upon-Tyne centre..

Over the next 7 years, UK Biobank will invite participants to attend one of three state-of-the-art imaging centres.

Up to 100,000 participants will complete MRI brain scans (including fMRI), cardiac and abdomen MRI scans alongside DXA and carotid ultrasound imaging. These images, along with a medical interview information and collection of physical measurements and blood samples will be made available to researchers across the globe to help scientists tackle a wide range of diseases that strike in mid to later life, including dementia, arthritis, cancer and heart disease.
