Our client is a leading software company that provides a cloud based performance management platform. They are now looking for an Account Manager to join their team. 

This role represents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sales account manager from the software industry to progress and advance with one of the leading software providers in the country.

As an Account Manager, you’ll be joining this fast growing software company and playing a key role in supporting their impressive blue chip client base. 

Specifically, you will work within the project and portfolio software market, developing and supporting new business, building commercial relationships and winning new deals. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will be demonstrating the product via webinars and seeking strategies and methods to achieve your targets and goals. You’ll need to be hungry for success, eager for recognition, highly motivated, driven and focused. 

Interested? If so, you will need: 

- At least three years’ sales account management experience gained within the software industry 
- Experience of selling and support complex SaaS based applications 
- A demonstrable track record of consistent on or over quota achievement and winning new logo clients 
- The ability to build creative and credible proposals for clients and document these to a high standard 
- A degree (or equivalent) in a maths or physics related discipline 

The ideal Account Manager will have experience in selling Project and Portfolio Management Software or similar applications. Training in a recognised sales methodology would also be advantageous, as would CRM knowledge and skills. 

A self-assured, expert, trustworthy, reliable, credible, considered approach and the ability to remain calm under pressure would be favourable. Strong communication and listening skills would also be valuable as would empathy, honesty, integrity, and the ability to build rapport at senior levels. 

Excellent problem solving skills and a consultative selling style would be beneficial, as would persistence and a self-starting nature.
