As their Exams Administrator, you will take responsibility both individually and as a team member for all aspects of examination administration.

Administering all examination/assessment aspects of qualifications, you will read, interpret and execute each awarding body’s regulations and procedures and disseminate the processed information to teaching staff and other colleagues. You will train, brief and monitor invigilators to make sure regulations are upheld and manage every requirement in such a way that full compliance is ensured.

You will manage exam and test sessions that you have organised by booking rooms and invigilators, ensuring the application of access arrangements, creating seating plans and exam registers and resolving any exam clashes. You will accurately process registrations/exam entries and resits within deadlines and use both internal and awarding body on-line systems to manage enrolment additions, withdrawals and transfers.

Candidates for this role must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills along with experience of general administration. You should be capable of working proactively; prioritising and managing workload and meeting deadlines, and take responsibility for specific areas of work both as an individual and within a team. Accurate, methodical and systematic, you will have good IT skills including experience of databases and spreadsheet applications.
