Our company client is a well established organisation who are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated and organised Data Analyst to join their growing team based in the City.
This is an exciting opportunity for career progression.

Major duties for this position will involve the following:

> The jobholder produces accurate, complete, appropriate and timely standard data sets for use by Business Departments.
> The role holder is required to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly exception reports to ensure the accuracy of the data and liaise with the business on corrections.
> The jobholder will perform detailed analysis and identify trends in data.
> The new Data Analyst will assist with performing root cause analysis and identify data anomalies.
> The jobholder is to assist in the completion of all Regulatory returns.
> The successful applicant will assist in the production of monthly underwriting unit packs.
> Assist in the production of all reports within the Data Management Department.
> All Employees must endeavour to provide accurate, complete and appropriate data, in accordance with Data Policy, as part of their roles and responsibilities at all times.
> Use formal reporting mechanisms to promptly notify relevant parties of any perceived new risks or failures of existing control measures.
> At all times consider the effect of any actions taken on the customers of Novae with the intention of improving their experience.

Background and skills required:

* You do NOT need to have an Insurance background to succeed in this role
* You must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
* Knowledge of SQL desirable.
* Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate with all levels of the business.
* Excellent attention to detail is essential.
* Prioritisation and time management skills in order to meet internal and external deadlines.
