The Graduate Applications Engineer Opportunity:

An opportunity exists for someone to join our dynamic company operating in a high technology market.

Flexible working:

There is some requirement for flexible working hours and weekend work (overtime paid for weekend work) as required. 

Travel:

There is good opportunity to travel within the UK, USA & Europe as part of our engineering team. Recent work has been completed in the USA, Hungary, Holland, Spain, Macedonia and Greece.

Start Date: December 2016 / January 2017

Graduate Applications Engineer Knowledge and Skills Required:

We are looking to recruit a keen and enthusiastic Graduate Applications Engineer who can work effectively as part of small yet busy team. We would welcome applicants with the following attributes:

Essential:

+ A logical approach to problem solving
+ Educated to degree level preferably in Automation Engineering, Mechanical Design, Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
+ Excellent interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
+ Well organised, ability to work to deadlines and a high attention to detail
+ Ability to prioritise a heavy workload
+ Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
+ Clean and full UK driving licence

Equally important will be the candidate's intellect, willingness to learn, ability to build relationships, putting themselves in others’ shoes, while always making a positive impact with our clients and each other

Desirable:

+ A Master’s degree in an engineering discipline
+ Knowledge of industrial automation in the context of machine vision/image processing
+ Experience and knowledge of design software such as Solidworks 3D or AutoCAD
+ Experience in control systems, PLC or general factory automation
+ Knowledge of software programming languages

You may have worked in the following capacities:
Graduate Mechanical Engineer, Graduate Automation Engineer, Graduate Electrical Engineer, Graduate Automation Engineer.
