Salary - GBP40K - 42K plus car plus fuel card plus package
A well know civils main contractor is looking to recruit Site Managers to join their civils /power division working on Highway and utility contracts.
Main Responsibilities
•Day to day supervision of work team(s) ensuring work is completed safely to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
•Responsible for planning, executing and completing the allocated work including verification, testing and certification of the works and ensuring recording and reporting procedures for the range of work undertaken are adhered to.
•Ensuring that daily site diaries/records are maintained ensuring progress and changes are accurately recorded.
•Interpretation of drawings, schedules & specifications and use these in the implementation, progression and monitoring of construction/installation works.
•Support the Management team in identifying and recruiting the appropriate skilled resources. •Ensure training and qualifications (own and team members) are kept up to date and identify additional training needs if appropriate
•Participate in progress and review meetings
•Carry out staff briefings as required and ensure that SQE procedures & processes are complied with.
•Manage and liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers and specialists as required
•Ensuring that safe working practices are promoted & adhered to at all times.
•Complete all documentation required to produce full hand back documentation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience within Highways or Utility projects . Be self-motivated, reliable, approachable, safety conscious and with high levels of attention to detail
