Curriculum Lead - Construction & Built Environment

Location: Fareham, Hampshire

Salary: £34,433 - £37,834 per annum

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking to recruit an ambitious, dynamic Curriculum Lead - Construction and the Built Environment who will be responsible for the management and development of our multi-discipline Construction and the Built Environment Department.

You will be required to manage teaching, learning and assessment activities, develop and enhance the curriculum and ensure all provision delivered by the Department and College partners is delivered to the highest standard. The Curriculum Lead - Construction & Built Environment will be required to undertake a teaching commitment of approximately eight hours per week, line manage all departmental academic and curriculum support staff, conduct teaching, learning and assessment observations and complete staff appraisals for direct line reports.

In addition to a recent proven record of success in a similar role and relevant profession, technical and business experience, you will need to hold a relevant degree and/or management qualification and an advanced professional qualification in a construction trade, have multi-trade experience, a teaching qualification, Assessor/Verifier Awards and have successful proven experience of managing Apprenticeship provision.
