Area Sales Executive (OTE £35K) 
Home/Field based covering the South West of England. Ideal for: Dorset, Wiltshire, Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Devon, Cornwall, South Wales 
£25,000 - £30,000 Basic DOE Plus Bonus (OTE c£35,000), Company Car, Pension, 25 Days’ Holiday + Bank Holidays 

Our client is a world leading supplier of high quality lubricants, adhesive and specialist cleaning & degreasing chemicals, focused on delivering innovative product technology and service excellence. They are now seeking an Area Sales Executive to join their team. 

If you’re a new business sales professional with proven experience gained within the OEM manufacturing, engineering and industrial sectors, this is an exciting opportunity not to be missed.

As an Area Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling our client’s cleaning & degreasing chemicals, lubricants and adhesives to customers throughout South West of England. Specifically, you will target customers in the automotive, transportation, engineering and industrial sectors. 

Travelling regularly throughout your territory, you’ll engage with customers and build strong relationships with them in order to maximise sales. You’ll structure your sales activities and build effective new business strategies within your region. 

Additionally, you’ll demonstrate the benefits of our client’s products to prospective customers, as well as developing promotions and managing merchandising standards. 

Interested? To be considered, you must have: 

- Experience gained in a new business sales role 
- A track record of winning business within the OEM manufacturing, engineering and industrial markets, encompassing both distributors and end users 
- A full driving licence 

As an Area Sales Executive, you must be commercially aware and target-focused with excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills. A driven, determined and ambitious mentality is also key. 

Whilst not essential, previous experience of selling industrial maintenance consumables would be beneficial to your application.
