The College is situated in Ewell, close to Epsom in Surrey, and is located in the green belt near Epsom Downs and can easily be accessed either by car (junctions 8-10 on the M25) or rail (Ewell West is close and the college is next to Ewell East where you can get regular direct trains to Clapham Junction and Victoria). The College was last inspected in February 2016 retaining its overall grading of 'Good' under the robust new Ofsted standards.

Chef/Cook

Part time or Full time Le Raj College Academy up to £16k

Our client are in partnership with Founder Mr. Enam Ali MBE of Le Raj are pleased to announce their new Le Raj Catering Academy based in Surrey Epsom, together we will be training the chefs and front of house staff to become the stars of the future. You will be part of a team that supports high quality education by providing outstanding food and service to the pupils and staff and the general public.

The company are looking for a Chef, who has passion about food, experienced, reliable and hard working. Does this sound like you? Then they want to hear from you! Your Job will be to assist the Tandoori Chef in preparing the Menu, cooking and presenting traditional and modern Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine as per the restaurants requirements.

Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. The company want someone with creativity and passion to help them produce innovative dishes and enhance the overall dining experience for the customers.

You naturally will be working under pressure in a busy environment offering high customer service, to ensure relevant food and hygiene standards are maintained within the kitchen at all times.

You must be fluent in English. Some experience working in an Asian restaurant or a similar position is preferred, sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene is also crucial to be successful in this role.
