Job Description:
Site Based mechanical fitter to work alongside other trades in the Water Industry Sector across Kent for ongoing work. Assist the Project Engineer/Site Manager, Carry out installation and repairs to equipment including testing works on mechanical equipment normally within the water/wastewater industry. Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to health & safety. Must be able to lead by example, and be responsible for Installation/Testing of equipment, keeping records, and maintenance of vehicle and Site tools. Suitable candidates will be working as a team in 2 to 3 man gangs (Vehicle Based) across the operational region.
Requird skills:
Construction & Installation Experience within the water industry
CSCS Card
Water Hygiene card
Mechanical Fitter Trade Skills demonstrated by NVQ/Apprenticeship / C&G qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of Pumping/Mechanical equipment
Pipe work Installation by use of a wide range of materials
Confined Space Trained
Full UK Driving License
Beneficial Skills/Qualifications:
Slinger/Banksman Signaller
Mobile Tower Erection (PASMA)
Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS)
CPCS Telehandler/Lifting Qualifications
First Aid At work (Min 1 Day)
