When global automotive retailing group, Lei Shing Hong commenced with its first Mercedes-Benz dealership more than 45 years ago, it started on its journey to become the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz retailer. Our UK dealerships operate under our corporate business LSH Auto UK Limited, with 9 dealerships in the Birmingham and Manchester market areas.

Due to continued business success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of an experienced Automotive Business Development Manager at Mercedes Benz of Tamworth. Although this role will be based from our dealership site, the successful candidate will be required to travel to meet clients.

What will I be responsible for?

Working as part of our fleet team, the successful Business Development Manager will take responsibility for:
  • Development of Fleet Sales Operation, incorporating all relevant products and services.
  • Planning and carrying out direct marketing and sales activities to promote the brand and develop target prospects.
  • Achieving a high level of customer satisfaction through regular contact and relationship management. Providing assistance and support to both new and established customers.
  • Play a key strategic role in developing and achieving performance targets and developing proposals for new business opportunities. 
  • Co-ordinating and managing customer accounts and representing Mercedes-Benz/LSH in terms of business standards.
  • Establishing and developing key contacts to achieve sales objectives, including detailed knowledge of customer needs and decision making process.
  • Sales presentations and contract negotiation.
  • Meeting the requirements of FCA in relation to the business operation.
Who are we looking for?

As our ideal Business Development Manager, you will have previous experience in a corporate sales role and be able to demonstrate proven experience of consistently meeting sales targets. You will also require:
  • Competent Sales Professional, able to identify and build long term relationship with clients.
  • Extensive knowledge of business administration as well as basic knowledge of tax, finance and contract law and the legal forms of doing business, pertaining to the motor industry.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • IT Literate.
  • Has a genuine passion for the delivery of first class customer service.
  • A full clean driving licence
Rewards & Hours

In return for your hard work as our Business Development Manager, you will be entitled to an OTE of £50,000 + company car and fuel card.  We also offer a great of benefits including a company car and fuel card.
