Are you looking for a new opportunity or thinking about trying a different kind of work?

Supporting someone to make the most of their potential and opportunities is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your life, and that's what we do at Scope. Values and attitude are more important to us than experience.

We are looking for Part time/Full time and Night Support Workers to join our teams at various residential services and community services within Nottingham.

Working within a multi-skilled team, you will be supporting disabled adults and children. You will be part of a team helping individuals to gain better access to the community and supporting them to take part in activities such as swimming, therapies, education and all aspects of daily living. You may also support them within their own home.

Experience is not essential, as we provide comprehensive induction training and all other necessary training. You may also have the opportunity to undertake Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma. In return we need you to have the ability to work as part of a team, a caring attitude and be a good listener. With a sense of responsibility, you will have a positive attitude, a calm approach, a sense of humour, an appreciation of individuality and an ability to work under pressure.

The position requires you to work shifts on a rota system and be flexible to the needs of the service, working week days, weekends and Bank Holidays.

We're committed to equal opportunities and particularly welcome applications from disabled people. Successful applicants will need to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
