About the Role

This role is ideal for those looking to develop their career in operations and administration within a vibrant and rapidly growing company. As Operations Administrator you will quickly take on responsibility for the day-to-day operation of many of the company's administrative functions, and with a positive attitude you will support the constant drive to improve and adapt these systems as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities will include:

·     Researching and purchasing travel; preparing tickets and itineraries

·     Arranging national and international shipments

·     Researching and purchasing stationery plus office and IT equipment

·     Providing basic IT and telephone support for end users

·     Liaising with service providers and suppliers

·     Minute taking in meetings

·     Coordinating compliance training for staff as required

·     Assisting with organisation of internal and external events such as client meetings and attendance at scientific congresses

·     Utilising our project management software, adding project codes and running reports

·     Updating client records

·     Facilitating the set-up of new international and UK based offices, pre- and post-launch

·     Taking an active role in creating a safe, tidy and professional environment

·     Answering the telephone, taking messages and greeting visitors to the office with a high level of professionalism

·     Processing incoming and outgoing mail, photocopying, scanning, filing and faxing

About You

Skills and experience required:

·         Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Experience using Microsoft Office

·         Exceptional attention to detail and high professional standards

·         Previous relevant administrative experience ideally across a range of functions would be desirable but is not essential   

You should be proactive and eager to take on new challenges, demonstrating a friendly, positive and ‘can-do' attitude.

What We Offer

·     Starting salary between £20,000 and £23,000 depending on prior experience
