An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research and Biotech Manager to join their committed successful biotechnology team in Widnes, Cheshire.
THE ROLE: The role of Research and Biotech Manager is to lead the Biotechnology Research team at our clients Widnes site in Cheshire. The role involves a strong outward focus of open innovation, interacting with the academic community and other partners in the product supply chain across the business.
As the Research and Biotech Manager you will manage a small team and assist and encourage the development of that team.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for this role of Research and Biotech Manager will possess strong communication skills communicate effectively with academic, partners and colleagues. You will be educated the PhD level in Microbiology, or related discipline, with a minimum of 3 years managerial experience and a thorough understanding of the field of biotechnology in its broadest sense.
