What responsibilities will you have?

Within banking, Accenture supports testing at the forefront with C-Suite buy in within the top tier investment and retail banks, in addition to the top tier challenger banks in the UK. This can range from large scale banking divestments mandated by the EU / UK government, through to the assurance of Financial and Derivatives related regulation, all the way to testing of implementation of new products and platforms for banks to be challenging in the new digital economy

Test and Quality Assurance are some of the highest growth areas within the IT service market, and are critical capabilities for delivering business change to support our clients. Our test practice capability is at the forefront of driving new IT delivery methods such as agile and dev ops, and collaborates with many advanced technology vendors to utilise the latest tooling, AI and automation capabilities.

Qualifications

What skills & experience are we looking for?

• Working in the Financial Services industry on either Divestment programmes or EU regulation driven programmes (e.g MIFID 2, SEPA, BACS)
• Retail banking digital and non -digital transformation specifically in testing or programme / pilot assurance
• Testing large / medium scale products migration and / or experience of testing downstream risk / treasury / finance driven regulatory reporting
• Able to shape the test model from unit test right through to change and implementation whilst working to a "centrally C-Suite driven" programme plan
• Pivoting between IT and Business in a complex workplace within Financial Services
• Designing test strategies for complex programmes
• Large scale test delivery capabilities with experience in directly manging large scale distributed test teams, building client relations and ensuring continuous improvements are recognised and implemented.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies covering both agile and waterfall test delivery practices along with an interest in NewIT

What academic qualifications do you need?

• ISTQB Qualified (or clearly demonstrate equivalent experience)
