Finance Director

This is a pretty special company, they are really fun, really innovative and absolutely brilliant at what they do. They are looking for a Finance & Operations Director to take responsibility for everything outside of sales and delivery and really navigate them through their growth journey.

Job Title - Finance & Operations Director – Learning & Development

Location - London

Salary - £60 - £75k plus shares, pension, death in service, bonus, season ticket loan etc.

They currently employ about 40 people and are on track to turnover £3M this year, they are a very stable business who have been established for nearly 25 years.

They are an experienced based learning and development company with a really impressive client base (TFL, IBM, CIPD).

This person would suit someone who likes working with creative people within a creative environment, they are also very commercial people who are really looking to grow the business. They need someone who can challenge the status quo but in an empathetic and collegiate way.

The rope will encompass Finance, Operations, HR, Legal and Compliance so you will need to be able to evidence that you have worked in a role wider than a traditional FD role.

There is a real focus on cash-flow within this business, it’s an SME that is frequently changing so someone that is used to unpredictability in a people-based business would ideally suit this role.

Finance & Operations Director - The Role:

Oversee the day to day running of the finance department, managing 4 people.

Support the sales team on contracts, tender, pricing and negotiating contracts.

Oversee IT strategy and implementations.

Lead on all HR matters.

Ensure regulatory compliance

Finance & Operations Director - The Person:

You will hold a professional accounting qualification

Experience working in a creative, people-focussed, SME, consultancy/agency type environment would be ideal

Evidence of working outside a traditional FD role
