Packing and Dispatch Assistant
The Vanilla Valley is looking to recruit a well-motivated and dedicated individual to become a part of an exciting and expanding company. The role is based in our retail unit in Nantgarw, Cardiff which sells specialist cake decorating equipment locally and worldwide via online selling channels. The position is Part Time with a minimum of 12 hours per week but potentially more to the right candidate.
Duties will involve packing daily online orders for our dispatch department, helping with inbound deadlines and stock rotation.
- Prepare and pack daily online orders for a variety of dispatch deadlines
- Unpack and check off deliveries from suppliers
- Maintain appropriate stock levels in our shop
- Maintain and clean the working environment for efficient operation
- Certain areas of this role will be physical and candidates must be able to manually move stock and materials around the premises
Salary and Working Hours
- Hourly Rate will be National Minimum Living Wage
- Working hours will include week days and Saturdays, candidates need to have flexibility to extend working hours in the week when required
- Candidates must be available to work any time between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturdays
