Learning Support Assistant

We are recruiting for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, to work with pupils who have learning difficulties, behavioural problems or physical or sensory disabilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a fun, enthusiastic team on a flexible basis that you can organise around other commitments

The role is to support the current permanent team within an 'outstanding' SEN school, covering staffing gaps and holidays on a regular basis. We are looking for someone that is available 3 or more days per week to help support the permanent team.

We are looking for a supply assistant for day to day and long term assignments who is

Available three or more days a week
Able to develop professional relationships with students and staff
Able to work with pupils one to one or in a group
Personable and flexible in the way they work

Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential. You will need to have previous experience working with children or adults with special educational needs, and you must have a genuine passion for the role.
