Our client is a family run business established in 1903. They provide engineering businesses with consistently high-quality work in metal fabrications. They are currently seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their team near Atherstone.
The successful candidate will oversee the busy fabrication factory. Maintaining production by monitoring and updating production priorities and managing staff.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Accomplish production planning
* Recruiting, selecting, training and assigning employees
* Communicating job expectations
* Planning and enforcing policies and procedures
* Implement production, productivity, quality and customer service standards
* Resolving problems
* Completing audits and maintain ISO9001 accreditation
* Determine production priorities by reviewing customer orders and requirements and production schedules
Skills / Qualifications
* Engineering background essential
* Managing processes
* Documentation skills
* Production planning
* Quality management
* Knowledge of Health & Safety.
