An opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer within a small, well established IT consultancy in Greater Manchester.
As a supplier of IT services, they have a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness and work hard to build a long term relationship with their clients. This role is customer facing and as such the correct attitude and a thorough methodical approach to work are every bit as important in this role as experience and qualifications.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems is essential along with a reasonable grounding in the following:
* Active Directory and Exchange Server 2003 Onwards
* Microsoft Office 365/2007 onwards
* Networking and Router configuration
* Mobile OS: Windows Phone, IOS, Android
* Printer Troubleshooting
* PC and Server hardware diagnostics
As a small business retention of their employees is important to them. They have a relaxed yet professional working atmosphere and this role is best suited to those who prefer working in small team rather than aspiring to the large corporate environment.
