Job summary and duties performed:

* This ambitious and entrepreneurial recruitment organisation with a turnover of £68 million seeks to acquire a Client Relations Consultant.
* This is a fantastic opportunity with great potential for an ambitious individual looking for a role that will offer enormous personal growth and development as well as visibility and impact, this role will suit an existing Recruiter looking to move into a qualitative client relations role or an existing Account Manager/Business Developer.
Working within the Client Relations team, based in London, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, promoting the organisation/company externally strengthening relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
* Manage an existing portfolio of clients and identify, develop and coordinate business development strategies
* Improve financial performance across the portfolio
* Strengthen client relationships and improve the client experience
* Identify growth opportunities
* Based on feedback from clients and performance of consultants on the account, feedback to the business on development areas (L&D, Business Intelligence, Marketing, Resourcing, etc)

Major accountabilities for this position will include:

* Research and analyse existing key clients - spend (perm/contract/total), volume, time-to-hire, performance ratios, strength of relationships, rules of engagement, disciplines currently recruited to, etc to understand how our performance has tracked over the past 12 months;
* Against our past performance, and
* Against the client's other suppliers across each discipline
* Develop a portfolio of circa 20 clients to target for increased revenue generation. Understand each client's perception of OJA, where improvements can be made and ensure the consultants on each account are working in the way that each client wants to engage with us
* Identify growth opportunities in new clients, new disciplines and new geographic regions through working with Consultants/Managers and their clients.
* Drive client networking and entertainment events between HR / Line Management & OJA teams
* Manage, coordinate, give written content to and review all PSL tenders, advising on relevant marketing material, driving new testimonials, etc
* Act as the client liaison for dispute resolution and complaints in some cases

Qualifications and knowledge for this role :

* An experienced consultant looking for a move into a qualitative client relations role, or
* An existing Account Manager

Background and skills required:

* You will be a goal orientated individual
* The breadth of skills required to take a sale from 'cradle to grave'
* The speed of thought to spot angles to up-sell and cross-sell
* You will need to be a team player and yet capable of operating autonomously
* A high level of verbal communication skills
* Confident approach
* An innate desire to be successful and a willingness to make the commitment that this role requires as well as the resilience to deal with the inevitable challenges that a sales role brings
* A track record of high achievement in previous roles
