Field Based (covering Lytham St Annes, Warton, Freckleton and Kirkham)

One Care DCS Fylde is a small and proudly independent provider of high quality home care services. They are now looking for a number of Home Care Workers to join them on a full time and part time basis. 

In this important role, you’ll have the chance to undertake an excellent induction and professional development programme and gain your Level 2 and 3 Health & Social Care Diplomas. 

For those that show potential, there will also be the opportunity to progress, increase your Health & Social Care qualifications and gain valuable leadership qualifications. 

As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing a first-class care service to individuals throughout Lytham St Annes, Warton, Freckleton and Kirkham. 

One Care DCS Fylde’s users include older people, adults with physical disabilities or sensory impairments and those with complex needs. 

You will provide vital support to users within their home and help them to maintain their independence. You’ll undertake a wide range of duties, from helping individuals to get ready through to preparing meals, administering medication and cleaning the household. 

One Care DCS Fylde is passionate about enriching the lives of the people they support, so they are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can communicate in an engaging and interesting manner. 

Interested? Whilst no experience is necessary, to be considered, you must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. A strong work ethic and team player mentality are also key. 

Please note, due to the nature of the work which includes providing personal, intimate care to female clients, only female candidates will be considered.

As a Home Care Worker, you must be eager to learn and develop new skills. Organised and focused, you must also have excellent prioritisation abilities and a friendly communication style. 

Previous care experience would be beneficial to your application. 

Please note, this role is available on a full time and part time basis. Weekend working is on an alternating basis, although staff can opt to work every weekend if they wish.
