As an Insight Analyst, you will be challenged to deliver actionable and valuable insights to customers through your analysis of data. 

On a day-to-day basis, you will support our client’s availability and waste management software, identifying insights and opportunities for both the customer base and the company. 

Communicating in a timely fashion and making yourself available for customers, you’ll support the Insight Manager and Relationship Managers in the delivery of customer requirements. 

You’ll ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, and root causes are identified and mitigated. Working closely with the Development Teams regarding software changes, you’ll ensure your output meets SLAs and will focus on the continual improvement of quality, timeliness and value. 

So, is this the role for you? If so, you must have: 

- An analytical background with a 2:1 degree 
- Knowledge of retail operations processes and/or procedures 
- Experience using data to provide valuable commercial impact 
- Extensive experience in using Excel and PowerPoint 

To succeed as an Insight Analyst will mean delivering great relationships with accounts and ensuring value is produced for their businesses. It means applying a pragmatic approach, managing priorities and planning effectively. 

You’ll need to be able to understand retail challenges, take a proactive approach towards articulating opportunities and solutions, understand data models and communicate analysis effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

Good knowledge and experience in SQL would stand you in good stead and experience of any of the following would be beneficial: SSRS, SAS, SPSS or Tableau. Experience of working with or for a retail business would be equally advantageous.
