We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Leader (Quantity Surveyor) to join our Property Services Team. The job holder will assist the Asset and Investment Manager in the effective delivery of building/construction contracts, whilst being responsible for providing a first class costing, procurement, contract management, contract advice and analysis service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing contract management of their materials store solution.  They will provide analysis and advice on the purchasing of materials through the stores, ensuring value for money and consistency within the constraints of the business plan.  They shall liaise with Finance and IT as required regarding the approval of invoices and shall run financial reports in order to manage the stores solution and other contract works. The successful candidate will also need to provide quantity surveying functions in the assembly of tender documentation for contracts executed by external organisations.

Experience of working within a social housing environment is preferable. You should have good attention to detail and be able to work to high standards of accuracy.  Applicants should be IT Literate, have a full driving licence, excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate others and be a team player.
