We are looking for a Development & Assets Solicitor to join our Legal and Governance Team. You will provide timely and quality legal advice on all strategic property development and asset disposal matters including, but not limited to, development agreements, sale and purchase contracts, unilateral undertakings and other contracts associated with this type of work.

You will manage a caseload of property development and asset disposal matters affecting the organisation and focus on customer satisfaction and client needs in the continued development of the service. You will prepare legal reports and legal comments within reports, in order to ensure that decision makers are fully informed of the legal implications of proposed courses of action.

With previous experience of dealing with development site acquisitions, large scale asset disposal and freehold, leasehold, commercial, other conveyancing transactions and procuring professional services. You will have knowledge in property and leasehold transactions, property law and law and practice relating to social housing.

You will be able to meet strict deadlines and have an ability to work under pressure with a constant regard for accuracy and confidentiality at all times. You must be a Qualified Solicitor with experience in a legal office or equivalent.
