Induction Hardening Machine Operative, nr Huddersfield
CNC Machine Operator: We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Induction Hardening Machine Operative to join our client’s team of Heat Treatment Specialists and Thermal Engineers based in Holmfirth, near Huddersfield.

About the Role of Induction Hardening Machine Operative
As part of a small team you will be operating a range of induction hardening machines, MPI crack detectors and eddy current inspection equipment. Other duties will include loading temper ovens and washers as necessary. Additional training will be provided where required
About the Hours
The role operates on a 39 hour shift pattern as follows:
Days - 7:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thurs, 7:30am to 12:30pm Fri But may include the following dependant on customer demand:
Mornings - 6am to 2pm Mon to Thurs, 6am to 1pm Fri
Afternoons - 2pm to 10pm Mon to Thurs, 1pm to 8pm Fri
Overtime is expected to be worked when customer demand require
The successful candidate for the role of Induction Hardening Machine Operative will have / be:
* Experience as an NC/CNC machine operator
* Experience of programming and machine set ups/changeovers
* Experience of MPI crack detecting.
* Computer literate
* A working knowledge of heat treatment
* Self driven and keen to learn new skills.
* Ability to problem solve during processing
* Capable of working on your own initiative or as part of a small team
* Able to demonstrate an ability to work to strict deadlines and high quality standards.
About the Salary
For this role of Induction Hardening Machine Operative you will receive a salary package of circa £20,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
