We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Legal and Governance Team. You will provide a professional, responsive, and effective paralegal advice and support service to the Legal and Governance team and undertake legal work in respect of the organisation’s activities, including in particular its contract, litigation and property functions. You will provide advice on legal matters, policies and procedures, undertake legal research, draft various legal documents and lodge or register as appropriate with the Courts, Tribunals and others ensuring all requisite timescales are met and documentation meets legal requirements.
Deliver effective support as required in relation to preparation for Hearings including liaising with witnesses and colleagues, drafting documents, serving documents, collating papers, preparing inventories of documents and attending hearings. Preferably, you will have previous experience of working as a paralegal in litigation, contract or property matter, you will be able to communicate accurately and effectively, have a methodical and thorough approach to work, be able to meet strict deadlines and have an ability to work under pressure with a constant regard for accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
You must have a relevant law degree or specialist Paralegal qualification in a relevant discipline or a Graduate Diploma in Law.
