SEN English and Drama Teacher (EBD)
Are you a creative English & Drama Teacher? Do you have the patience and tenacity to deal with students with behavioural and emotional difficulties? If so then this School needs you to help their students in their SEN Unit.
The unit is a specially resourced provision for special educational needs and supports 15 students with a statement of special educational needs and who have extreme emotional and behavioural difficulties.
They are looking for an English and Drama teacher with experience teaching at either GCSE or lower functional skills level.
The successful candidate should have the creativity required to engage with students with behavioural difficulties and the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students
You should ideally have previous SEN or EBD experience, although they will also consider candidates with a background working in education along with right attitude and desire.
This is a permanent position, ideally to start in January 2017.
