SEN PE and Geography Teacher (EBD)

Do you have experience teaching PE and Geography? Do you have the right attitude and desire to work with student's with behavioural and emotional difficulties? Are you looking for a position where you can make a difference? If so then the following opportunity could be just the role for you:

The unit is a specially resourced provision for special educational needs and supports 15 students with a statement of special educational needs and who have extreme emotional and behavioural difficulties.

They are looking for a PE and Geography teacher with experience teaching at either GCSE or lower functional skills level.

The successful candidate should have the creativity required to engage with students with behavioural difficulties and the interpersonal skills needed to effectively communicate with staff and students

You should ideally have previous SEN or EBD experience, although they will also consider candidates with a background working in education along with right attitude and desire.

This is a permanent position, ideally to start in January 2017.

This is a great opportunity to focus your skills on working with small groups of students who really need your help. There may also be the opportunity to further you skills by helping out in other subjects.
