We are currently looking for a Product Development Senior Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Cheshire area. As the Product Development Senior Scientist you will be responsible for the full process of product development including formulation and analytical chemistry

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Product Development Senior Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Full understanding of pharmaceutical product development, understand the analytical needs for drug product development.

2. Provide technical expertise for respiratory drug formulation and it's analysis all to a cGMP standard.

3.Get involved in the investigation of out of specification/atypical results and the associated
documentation, as well as CAPAs, change controls, procedural deviation management.

4.Frequently liaised with the QA department in order to solve problems with documentation, quality risk management and cGMP compliance.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Product Development Senior Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a Chemistry or Pharmaceutical related field.

2. Proven industry experience in formulation and analysis of respiratory and inhaled drug products along with supervision or leadership of other staff members.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC, GC and method development and validation to ICH guidelines. Also knowledge of quality document management or GMP.
