Cover Supervisor required in a Wakefield secondary school
As a cover supervisor you will be expected to supervise lessons during the short term absence of teaching staff, overseeing the work set by the class teacher, supervising and supporting pupils.
You will be expected to cover all classes and all subjects, specialism of these subjects are not necessary.
The role will require you to be available at short notice.
Duties will include: * Managing the classroom
* Going through pre-set work
* Taking the register
* Ensuring work is collected
* Leaving handover notes detailing any progress
We are looking for candidates who have previous classroom experience or have experience working with young people in a formal setting. We must be able to obtain a professional reference confirming that you have worked with children.
