LOCATION: Willenhall, West Midlands

JOB TITLE: Maintenance Electrician

SALARY: GBP9.18 per hour base rate + shift premium of between GBP12 per day to GBP15 per day (dependent on shift)

  • Onsite staff parking
  • Overtime available and paid from time and a third up to double time (dependent on shift)
  • 25 days annual leave + statutory days
  • Company pension scheme

WORKING HOURS: Full time day shifts, Monday - Friday

THE COMPANY: Our client has a proud history in supplying engineering Grade Steel Bars to World-wide markets and is comprised of several internationally known business names that operate in the Steel sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their team as a Maintenance Electrician based in Willenhall, West Midlands.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join a successful organisation based in Willenhall, West Midlands. You will report to the Works Engineer and your duties will include planned and reactive maintenance of bright draw benches and all associated ancillary equipment.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Electrician to include:
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance and breakdowns
  • Installation work, as required
  • Completing paperwork
  • Recommending the purchase of spare parts

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Electrician role will be suitably qualified with previous maintenance experience. You will be confident in fault finding, preventative maintenance and reactive repair work. You should be able to work as part of a team and also under your own initiative and not afraid to get your hands dirty.

Key skills/experience essential for the Maintenance Electrician role:
  • Previous electrical maintenance experience
  • Able to commute to Willenhall, West Midlands
