Semi Senior Accountant
Due to expansion we now require a semi senior accountant with a good accountancy practice background, competent in work up to partner review.
Some accountancy qualifications preferred but qualified by experience will also be considered.
Knowledge of cloud based systems is an advantage.
The role involves accounts preparation, book-keeping, completion of corporate and personal tax returns, VAT returns, payroll and auto enrolment, client liaison by email, phone and face to face, establishing relationships with new clients. You must also be flexible and assist in ad hoc administrative tasks on occasion.
Work is varied with a mixed client portfolio – limited companies, sole traders and partnerships, mostly small businesses. Occasional travel to clients may be required.
This is a full time position but some flexibility may be possible.
