This company is looking for an enthusiastic middleweight .NET (C#) developer to join the established team - they have a number of exciting Kentico CMS/EMS opportunities in the pipeline.

This company is a web application development company based in Leatherhead, Surrey and a Microsoft/Kentico CMS partner. They have been building web sites and web apps since 1999 and have a wide range of clients from small charities to large corporations like Premier Foods.

You will be working alongside the Technical Director, their Lead .NET Developer and the in-house development and design team, as well as a handful of remote Contractors in a very creative and buzzing atmosphere.

You will have responsibility for building web applications specifically within the Kentico CMS/EMS platform for their clients as well as supporting the development of their own suite of web apps. You will be working on some leading brand websites and web apps.

You must have experience with:

- Modern RESTful approach to .NET (c#) development and a good understanding of MVC framework and web forms on the .NET platform
- Solid understanding of software development patterns and Object Oriented design
- Using Git (or other) Source Control as part of the daily development workflow
- Development on MS platforms a must (Visual Studio) & MS SQL Server

Experience in the following is a bonus:

- Kentico CMS/EMS experience valuable but cross training from other CMS solutions such as UMBRACO considered
- Working in an agile, flexible environment, ideally SCRUM/Kanban experience
- Unit Testing within the .NET framework with Behavior Driven Development
- Systems administration, deploying .NET on a variety of MS based environments such as windows 2008 server and cloud based services such as Amazon AWS
- JQuery/Javascript and Responsive Design coding techniques for Web/Mobile/Tablet (html/css)
- IA (Information Architecture) and prototyping using industry standard wire framing tools
- A degree in Computer Science is preferable but not essential

Candidates should be fluent in .NET (C#) and have a grounding in a number of the following: HTML/CSS, XML/XLST, SOAP, Javascript, JQuery, MS SQL Server, Windows Server/IIS and cloud deployment on the MS Windows Azure platform

They are also always on the lookout for competent freelance/contract .NET and Ruby on Rails developers to join their team either in-house or to work remotely.
