This is a newly created position for an NQT or experienced Teachers who have worked in a similar role previously.

You will be part of a community school for children from the ages of 3 and 7 years. (Foundation Stage and National Curriculum Key Stage 1). Aiming to provide a stimulating environment where children are eager to learn and achieve their full potential and each child's achievements are celebrated.

This is an opportunity to be part of a school which is consistently graded as "Good" by OFSTED, particularly mentioned teaching of Early Years for Letters and Sounds.

Due to recent refurbishment there is a large grassed area for fine weather with a tyre play area and a wooden play equipment installation. There is plenty of hard play for the winter where the children can use play equipment and role play resources.

The reception classes have their own outdoor area which is well equipped to support all areas of the Early Years curriculum.

All applicants must have the following to be considered for this opportunity: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT or Overseas Qualified Teachers. PGCE or Degree in Education. Up- to-date knowledge of the British National Curriculum. Relevant recent teaching experience. Own transport could be an advantage but not essential. Eligibility to work in the UK.
