The role
As Sales Account Leader in the fast paced Campaigns team you will be researching and developing new sponsorship, building their relationship with existing and new corporate clients, and promoting the knowledge offering and campaign value proposition. This will involve managing all aspects of the commercial relationship, profitability, administration and the strategic direction of these accounts.

Key duties and responsibilities
- Ensure campaigns and events target are met and exceeded through thorough management and preparation of sales pipelines
- Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Negotiate all sponsorship packages to maximise their value while upholding the brand and its values
- Sell revenue generating opportunities for the organisation, mostly, but non exclusively, for events, to target and to meet budget
- Explore new opportunities for revenue generation and Increase the yield of sponsorship deals
- Maximise sales revenue on bespoke sponsorship packages and other developments through building successful client relationships
- Manage relationship and fulfilment of sponsorship agreements with clients and internal stakeholders
- Liaise with clients, mostly, but not exclusively by phone to ensure good customer relationship is maintained
- Gather marketing and sponsorship leads to pass to relevant department
- Attend events to assist with the running of, and customer service at, and research future topics and leads
- Brief Production, Marketing and Operations team appropriately so they can deliver the packages sold to customers and allow full and efficient administrative support

What are they looking for?
The ideal candidate would have extensive experience working in a sales environment within an events capacity. Customer focus, creativity and sharp attention to detail are all key components of this role; the candidate will have excellent research skills, great networking ability and a hunger for results.

Essential criteria
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
- Excellent phone manner
- Effective time management and good organisational skills
- Effective, well developed communication skills - verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, SalesForce)
