Learning Support Assistant - Liverpool School
Randstad Education are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant who has the experience in motivating and inspiring young people aged 11-16 with challenging behaviour to achieve their academic targets. The ideal candidate will show behaviour management skills in the classroom when challenges arise and have a mentor approach with students.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting students in class
- Manage Behaviour
- 1:1 catch up lessons
- Working with small groups
The head teacher is looking for a calm, committed and hardworking Learning Support Assistant who can and add to the culture of the schools high expectations. You will be required to support students in class and provide one to one catch up lessons in English and Maths. You will also be required to follow the school's structured and orderly environment while being able to use behaviour codes that reinforce student's responsibility for their actions.
