This is an opportunity to join a well established family run steel stock-holding business with 43 companies within the group, based across 27 locations and employ 1100 people UK wide. The construction division, based in Scunthorpe is now looking to strengthen its team with the addition of a Sales Administrator.

Position: Sales Administrator
Location: Scunthorpe
Salary: £16 - £22k depending on experience (plus monthly bonus depending upon performance) and pension after qualifying period.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator to join their successful internal sales team.

Supporting the sales team, you will process sales enquiries and orders and see all administration through to completion, ensuring excellent levels of customer service.

You will also have responsibility for generating additional sales activities and assisting in the improvement of overall profitability of the company.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be organised and methodical in their approach and have the tenacity and strong organisational ability to be successful in this busy role. Ideally the successful candidate will have experience of working within the steel industry, but consideration will be given to similar industry experience.

More important is your bright personality, keen willingness to learn, ability to work as a genuine team player whilst possessing excellent communication skills.
