We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and exceptional teacher to teach KS2 pupils, with severe learning difficulties.The role is to cover maternity leave, staring in February 2017 until January 2018. There is the oppurtunity to start earlier.

This is a 'good' school which caters for pupils with complex needs and SLD; many pupils have autism, ADHD or attachment disorder.

We are looking for applicants with;

Experience in teaching pupils with complex special needs
Excellent teaching skills based on assessment for learning
Creative teaching approaches which engage and inspire young people
Experience in tracking pupils? progress, and minimizing the risk of any underachieving
Experience in teaching children who need support in managing their high anxieties, and controlling their challenging behaviours
