Our company client is a well respected organisation who are currently seeking to recruit a dynamic and highly skilled Project Manager to join their fast paced team based in Manchester.This is an exciting opportunity for career progression.

Top duties for this role will cover as follows:

1 Objective setting: Ensure that project outputs and outcomes are clearly articulated and that progress to their achievement is effectively
2 Project management: Lead on and deliver key project processes and products, to include stakeholder risk, benefits and communications
3 Project planning: produce core project components as appropriate to the size of the project, such as business cases, project plans, PIDs etc in a way that facilitates understanding and decision making and develop supporting products as
4 Project lifecycle: Plan effectively for the whole project lifecycle - with approved clear migration from project to BAU.
5 Coaching: Coach and motivate the project teams, delivering support, driving best practice, developing skills and ensuring learnings are
6 Resource management: Work with colleagues in Operations and key stakeholders elsewhere in to ensure that project plans are in line with wider capacity plans and resources are available to meet needs.
7 Project method: Define, apply and maintain proportionate application of project
8 Risk management: Proactively identify risks and issues as early as possible to take corrective action. When necessary escalate early, with recommended mitigation
9 Leadership: Exemplify the behaviours, values and leadership approach we wish Operations to be famous for. Guide and inspire the Operations Group through consistently demonstrating these values and
10 Stakeholder management: Effectively influence and build relationships with a range of senior stakeholders, including the Management Board and internal stakeholders; ensuring engagement and support across all aspect of project

General Aspects:

1 Collaboration: In conjunction with the management team across Operations, drive effective and seamless working across the Operations Group, ensuring a 'one team' approach, with coherent and consistent aims, objectives and actions, and supporting initiatives as
2 Process improvement: Support the Operations teams and stakeholders in process review and continuous improvement

Major duties for this job:

1 To model leadership behaviours with confidence and to get the very best from direct reports and teams by providing clarity, feedback, coaching and development, while continuously seeking to enhance performance in line with business

Knowledge and competencies required:

* Assessment
* broad knowledge of the education system and activities
* An excellent understanding of project methodologies
* A broad knowledge of process improvement methodologies
* Educated to degree level or extensive experience in a similar role
* Prince2 accredited or similar relevant qualification is desirable
