Field Service Engineer - Midlands

A position has become available for a field service engineer to join our team in the Midlands area.

This is a permanent full time position - 40 guaranteed hours per week.

Salary will be in line with both experience and background. To meet the needs of their customers' there is also a monthly call out rota in place where it is expected you participate and share equally amongst your team - this call out includes weekends and will be paid at the set call out rate.

They are a family run business established over 50 years ago and are proud of their approach to staff - they expect you to be self-disciplined and motivated and capable of managing your own working day.

This opportunity involves the repair of faulty drinks, snacks and food vending machines. You will provide a professional response, in person and within a timescale set by the company, to service calls logged by the customer. This can involve long days and extensive travel on occasions. The emphasis is very much on teamwork to ensure the needs of customers and demands of their own internal servicing standards are met.

You must:

- Have a full driving licence and be confident driving long distances
- Present positively in front of customers and be able to represent the company professionally
- Be a strong team player as well as being comfortable working alone
- Background in or knowledge of vending machine engineering
- Reliable and honest
- An organised individual with a flexible attitude
- Live in the Midlands area
- Have some basic IT skills
- Physically capable for the requirements of the job - some heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
