This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic individual with a passion for design and user experience. They are a growing digital distribution platform for video games looking to build the next generation of their digital distribution platform. They are seeking an exceptional UX designer/developer to help define and implement this, as well as shape future projects.

The role would require you to take into account UX core concepts of a successful digital experience such as usefulness, ease of use, aesthetically attractive and uncluttered designs and creating an enjoyment of use, encouraging an appetite for repeat use.

The main responsibilities will be:
- Look at the existing projects design a cutting edge user experience.
- Constant research on current trends in order to inform and reshape the design on new and existing applications.
- Execute from start to finish mobile first responsive web designs with a modern look and feel suitable for a wide range of devices.
- Develop an understanding of our customers and creative solutions to improve the user experience of the platform and encourage repeat use.
- Create and manage style guides, for each project, giving them their own identity.
- Iterate on design solutions in a data driven way based on customer usage and emerging trends.
- You will be working in a dynamic, fast moving commercial environment. Pace, drive and passion are prerequisites.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Good sense and understanding of visual design and user interaction.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing high quality UX designs.
- Fluency with visual and interaction design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, UX Pin, invision or similar applications.
- BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent practical commercial experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in an exciting and fast paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Expert understanding of HTML and CSS
- Basic understanding of Javascript/JQuery or a similar web programming languages
- Interest in video games (console, mobile or preferably PC).
